A new in-game stat Legendarity! With the upcoming update, were kickstarting a process of improving the progression system. Introducing Legendarity - a new parameter that will partially replace the familiar critical damage system and expand it with new possibilities.The release of version 33.0 marks the first step in bringing Legendarity into the game as part of a broader effort to address long-standing issues, including matchmaking and how account progression influences it. At this stage, Legendarity wont affect in-game mechanics or provide additional bonuses, but it will appear in the interface as a reflection of your accounts progression.Lucia will be the first hero to grant Legendarity, as she has been designed with this new parameter in mind from the ground up. Unlike other Heroes, upgrading Lucia will not increase critical damage. Instead, for every 4 levels of progression, she will provide 4 points of Legendarity, which will not directly affect the heros characteristics.The full functionality of Legendarity will be introduced in future updates. Additionally, in the upcoming updates the parameter will be implemented for other existing Legendary Units and Heroes. This means every player will have the opportunity to experience the new legendary mechanics and features. Having Lucia in your collection wont be required to do so!Please note that the current critical damage system will remain in the game, although it will undergo some adjustments. Greetings, residents of the Isle of Rhandum!Today, wed like to talk about one of the most important stats in the game Critical Damage.Right now, this parameter plays a huge role in every players experience. It influences the strategies of account development, drives active discussions about matchmaking, inspires conspiracy theories, and more. We wont go over every aspect of Critical Damage instead we want to share a bit of whats happening behind the scenes of Rush Royales development.The development team believes that the Crit system has accumulated too many interlinked mechanics over time. As a result, elements that complicate gameplay now exceed those that give benefits. For example:- The accumulation of Crit takes quite a while.You can deal massive amounts of damage and defeat opponents with lower Crit values, yet the overall gameplay doesnt really change all that much;- Balancing units and items, such as the Bow, becomes increasingly difficult. The Bow tends to dominate in terms of efficiency, and the gameplay experience with certain units varies greatly between players of different Crit levels;- Players returning to the game after a long break often struggle to compete with others, and that gap keeps growing with time.To address these and other issues, were working on a new game stat designed to refresh and expand gameplay, as well as solve what we see as the key problems of the current Crit system.In an upcoming version, this stat will first appear alongside a new Legendary Hero, while other related mechanics will continue to be developed. In future updates, we plan to introduce this property to more Legendary units and heroes taking your existing progress into account, of course.So, what do you think this new gameplay stat might do? A new season is about to begin, which means its time to announce the upcoming balance changes. We kindly remind you that some adjustments are released precisely at the start of a season to make changes more predictable.The next season begins on October 2nd, and with it, we plan to adjust the Talents, Reincarnation abilities, and base stats of several units. And of course, we couldnt leave out Zeus and Fortuna!Units Twilight Ranger (buffed)Recently, the Ranger has lost popularity at higher rankings and even started falling behind her Pantheon peers at mid-rank levels. To improve her standing, were raising the soul cap required to unlock her full bonus boosting her potential in long matches while still rewarding player skill. Talent adjustments will also balance her power for players with lower progress and significantly buff previously unpopular talents. These changes should bring the Ranger back into the meta and set her keen eye on new victories. Franky & Stein (buffed)After the last adjustments, Franky performed well at high levels but only until players started discovering the power of the Demonologist. With him in nearly every top deck, Frankys strength turned out to rely heavily on that synergy, while on her own she wasnt doing as well. At lower levels, her demanding mechanics were also holding her back. To address both issues, were shifting some of her strength to earlier progression while also giving her a boost at max level. In addition, the Fully Charged talent will be simplified, since it was less popular among many players. These changes should bring Franky and her metal companion back into full action. Tesla (buffed)It seems many have forgotten about Professor Tesla but hes still got some sparks left! Were slightly improving his stats to give him more relevance in battles. Minotaur (buffed)The Minotaur looks fierce, but in practice he hasnt been quite living up to that image. Were enhancing his early talents to see how he performs in the current meta. If thats not enough, well revisit him in future seasons. Bruiser (buffed)The Bruiser asked us nicely and we couldnt say no. His stats will be increased, and his Awakening Rage talent will be even stronger.Heroes Zeus (nerfed)Zeus is powerful perhaps too powerful and other heroes have asked us to tone him down a little. Right now, hes the most popular Legendary hero, overshadowing the rest, and we cant ignore that. With the arrival of Phantom, the demand for fast, powerful boosts has grown, and Zeuss ability to increase ranks allowed him to pair with extra support units for a major advantage. We want to keep his unique identity intact, but also to make room for other strategies. Thats why were slightly reducing his power boost while continuing to monitor his performance. Fortuna (buffed)Fortuna is having a lucky day shes won the lottery, with her prize being an upgrade to one of her abilities! With the recent PvP changes and shifts in the meta, the usefulness of Incredible Luck had dropped significantly, both in stats and in player feedback. To improve her feel and effectiveness at higher levels, weve enhanced the ability by adding the power to cleanse a chosen unit. This will greatly help the decks that have Fortuna in them, since she tends to have a lot of units and that means a lot of nasty effects to deal with. And before you ask what about the Necromancer? Dont worry, we havent forgotten. Updates to his abilities are already in the works, and well share the details soon.Things that will be fixed:- An issue where the first Reincarnation ability of the Twins triggered on large summoned monsters, such as the Demonologists.- An issue where the Demonologists Abyssal Portal talent boosted certain hero stats in addition to the hit points of the Demonologists monsters. [FIX COMING SOON] Flicker's ability points are not reset correctly. [INVESTIGATING] Player nicknames are centered incorrectly on the battle debriefing screen. AggrogeddonIts an optional PvP mode where bombarding your opponent with all sorts of effects will be the games bread and butter! The tried-and-true balance has become something completely new here and units that cast debuffs upon the opponents field rule the battlefield.Each effect will earn you Aggro Points, with various amounts awarded for different effects: reducing an enemy units merge rank is the most profitable move, while curses, stunning and weakening will net you less.The more Aggro Points you accumulate, the meaner the monsters on the opponents side become, and you will be getting more and more mana as well as access to destructive spells, right as the battle rages on! Three separate slots are allotted for spells, and its up to you to decide when to unleash them upon the enemy to turn the tide of battle and spite your opponent.There will be no bosses here except for the Villainous Wizard who will be blasting you with effects borrowed from random bosses once every 30 seconds. The number of abilities activated at once will be increasing with time take heed! Basic conditions:- The event will be launched on weekends (except the launch days for the Rhandum League).- You will need to assemble separate decks (up to 5), each of which must contain at least one key unit or hero, before becoming eligible for combat.- In order to give you a way of getting acquainted with the new mode and having good fun as well twice as many hearts, 10, will be available during the first launch! Event rewards:- Aggrogeddon features a regional leaderboard with unique rewards: tokens, essence, frames, emojis and avatars!- For scoring every 5 victories per day, you will receive 20 trophies that arent going to be lost if you should suffer a defeat!This exciting and dynamic game mode will be an excellent way of finding some variety away from the familiar events and PvP and having great fun along the way.
