Exciting news! I'm developing a new RACING game, its called Two Tap Racing Simulator it's a simple and fun mobile racing game with only two controls. It's currently in an 'Alpha' build stage but is playable! Follow the new page: Two Tap Racing SimulatorRequest access to private testing now by joining the Google Groups, when approved you will see instructions to install the game: Freebie Link idea is to race your way through 6 different series from Karting to Formula A in a career mode, right now you can run a single season and single races, I'd love to hear what my users of Fastest Lap Racing Manager think. There is potential to introduce a management mode to this new game and allow you to scout more junior racing series and bring drivers through from lower racing series, this feature is not something that is possible to be added to Fastest Lap Racing Manager so it will be really interesting to see where this game goes! IDEAS FOR DISCUSSION: I've been thinking about two changes for driver ability development, would like to hear feedback.1) Make the progression from starting ability to peak ability more random. At the moment each drivers ability win increase on the same regular cadence. Therefore it's easy to tell when your driver has reached peak ability. I'm working on converting the 33,737 lines of code that built Fastest Lap Racing Manager to my new game development framework. I don't even know how many compilation errors I have at the moment?! About 8,000 probably. I've fixed a bunch, but a long way to go.

Last night I spent a little time looking at how much work it will be to convert Fastest Lap Racing Manager into my new modern game development framework. I don't now how long yet but I have 1,000's of compilation errors to fix hopefully I will get there, I'll let you now how it goes.

NEW FEATURE IDEA: Would anyone enjoy an 'iron man' mode on FL Racing Manager? I'm imagining an *optional* mode that makes it impossible to restart qualifying / races if the race is not going well.Once you start a race, you must finish it. If you quit the game or try to restart the race your team would be disqualified to the back of the grid.

Long overdue post coming... more exciting news! I'm considering focusing on developing several *major* improvements to Fastest Lap Racing Manager over the coming months! If I decide to do this, it's going to be quite a lot of work to move the game into a different more modern software development framework that will be give the game a better future, this alone will be a lot of work.
