Letter from the Game Director Hello and happy holidays to all the Psy Captains.First of all, I'd like to thank you all for your loyalty to Mutants: Genetic Gladiators for this eleventh year of its existence, because without you this game could not exist. This year 2024 has been the source of many upheavals in the team and the narrative choices, and certain events have sometimes forced us to make quick choices and changes to offer the best possible experience during the various events. The future of the game To increase interest in all the mutants and upcoming skins, 2025 will be based much more on Bingo Grids than in previous years. In particular, there will be 3 grids that will open very quickly and contain all the new mutants, skins, and special releases of the year. One of these grids will be dedicated to skins from multiple events. Given that many skins can be obtained over very short periods, a new mechanism is planned to make it easier to obtain some of the temporary skins later, via new tokens exclusive to 2025, to avoid generating additional frustration.As always, you'll find the major events of Valentine's Day, Easter, Anniversary, Halloween, and Christmas, however, there will be even more exclusive weeks with skins to collect than in previous years. This will start on January 12 with the week of Kings and the first special skin of 2025. The problem of cheaters Despite some positive changes, this year has also unfortunately seen an increase in cheating and abuse by some players. We're not ignoring this phenomenon and regularly carry out ban passes to detect and clean up all game modes, including PvP. Over the coming year, we want to step up efforts to weed out even more cheats and breathe new life into the game. This explains why we decided to disable the purchase of Med Labs in the shop, as they were the source of many cheating-related problems. The return of Med Labs We're planning the return of medical labs in 2025. They will be obtainable via a series of missions dedicated to the medical theme. It will allow us to better integrate the Med Labs acquisition into the game's normal progression, making it easier for new players to acquire them. At the same time, it will help reduce abuses and cheats. Once they have been acquired, they will function in the same way as they do now. A stronger narrative Over the year, we've offered you a slightly denser narrative during events, and have received some positive feedback on this. This is why we plan to continue densifying the narrative and add additional narrative elements throughout the year, starting with the one linked to the return of the medical labs. A new balance We plan to implement a major balancing phase in 2025 to readjust certain PvP issues, particularly around genes currently considered weaker than others.
