For the upcoming game season we've prepared some notable changes you need to know about. Let's take a look!Play Witchcraft: Freebie Link season we launch the new game shop where players can buy new items using special season tokens earned from events and daily gameplay. Every player who plays regularly can buy some new equipment, spells, boosts, and other useful item.This shop mechanics, while giving players complete freedom to decide how to spend their tokens, also equalized players. Imagine two players: one plays every day and participates in all events while another one comes to the game from time to time and participates only in the most important events such as titans. Both these players earn tokens - the first one earns 10000 tokens during the season while another one earns only 800 tokens. But, regardless of difference in their effort, both players can buy the top epic item from the shop. It doesn't mean much that the hardcore player will do that in their first week and casual one will do it closer to the end of the season. In the end, they'll both have equal equipment. It demotivates hardcore players and makes efforts and dedication fruitless.In the upcoming season we'll change how season shops will work. Now, instead of unlocking all the available items from day one, the shop will unlock tier by tier. At the beginning of the season all players will have 6 listing instantly available for purchase - both equipment items and useful consumable resources such as spells, boost and charms. In order to unlock the next tier you'll have to buy at least 4 of these 6 listing. Each listing can be bought just once. As soon as the next tier unlocks, you'll need to buy more listings to unlock another tier. The more tiers you unlock, the better equipment you'll have in the tier. To get the best possible items you'll need to unlock the highest tiers, and to do so you'll need to get enough tokens to buy enough listings from the previous tiers.This new mechanics will add the difference in which equipment a casual and a hardcore player could get. It will also limit the number of top items a player could buy during the season which will prevent these items from appearing on the Black Market and make high-end items even more valuable.In order to get the best stuff you'll have to play hard, and we do understand that the absolute majority of players will most likely hate this change. However, we strongly believe it will make the game more interesting and challenging in the long run.These changes to the shop mechanics will apply to the new shops only. The existing shops, including the Sunken Shop of this season, will keep working as before.In the upcoming season we're also paying special attention to the stats of the new items. The new approach to stats generation will guarantee a certain growth of the stats for each item of the new season comparing to the stats of the items of the same kind from the previous season. There won't be items with equal or even worse stats. For sure, the advantage will be most notable when items are upgraded to the highest level.We're looking forward to hearing from you about the update. The total number of Circles a player could earn during the season is limited, so spend them wisely. Circles of Might are given automatically with the rewards given for activities mentioned in season tasks. You can buy one of each epic/premium equipment items and a finite number of packages of the spendable resources (spells, boosts, catalyzers, etc). The numbers are not displayed to avoid cluttering game screen, but as soon as you buy the maximum allowed amount - the button disappears.We hope you'll keep enjoying the game with this change! We've just released an update introducing the new Coven Storehouse screen!Play Witchcraft: Freebie Link new Storehouse screen has been added! It allows you to put items into a shared storage where other member of your coven could pick them up at will. The number of items a Storehouse could have is not limited, you can use it to share alchemy ingredients, collection pieces, equipment, and other resources. Transferring of the epics and premiums is not allowed for now, but the rest of the items are possible to deposit and withdraw.Please take into account that the Storehouse is always open to ALL member of your coven regardless of their level, role, and time since acceptance to the coven.Other changes:- Item exchange functionality has been removed- Item sacrifice feature has been removed- The Alchemy Recipes dialog is now properly positioned on mobile screens, no longer appears at the bottom end of the screenUpcoming changes:- Monster sharing options will be reduced to two options: "Make it Public" and "Post to Coven", other options will be removed. According to statistics, when a player decides to press the Invite Friends button, more than 99% of monster invites are sent with all allies selected. It is an equivalent of pressing the "Make it Public" button, but creates hundreds of database records instead of just one. Same statistics tells us players almost never use the monster sharing links and summoner message text. We'll remove the unused elements to keep the interface simpler and reduce server load.- Token Shop accessible from the Shop page is to be removed in one of the upcoming updates.
