URGENT Black Screen After Update Issue Hey everyone, Recently, after the update, there has been a lot of reports about players being unable to open Galaxy Empire anymore, that the splash screen does not even show up and the game refuses to open.... We have found the issue, and it has to do with iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s using older iOS versions. Currently, we are working on a hot-fix for this issue, but it will still take some time to develop properly. We have realized that if you update your iOS version (the operating system) the game should work fine, with no issues. However, if you do not want to update your iOS, you will have to wait for the hot-fix. We're sorry for this inconvenience, and we will have it fixed as soon as possible. Weekly Notice (5/19/14) What the Galaxy Empire team will be focusing on this week A Server Merges:... This Wednesday (5/21), a server merge for iOS is scheduled at 2:00AM - 10:00AM UTC. Servers to be merged are Hyperion, Electra, Metis, EI Gordo and Vesta. As a lot of data is being transferred, the workload is extensive; thus, servers will be down for approximately 8 hours for maintenance. If you encounter any technical issues, please feel free to report them to us. URGENT Locked Out of Galaxy Empire Evolved! Hello everyone, We have encountered a minor issue. We have published a new update for Galaxy Empire Evolved, and in order to play the game, you need to be updated to the most current version.... servers have already been updated to this latest version, but for an unknown reason, there has been a delay on the publication of the update on the Apple Store. Therefore, players on Galaxy Empire Evolved are unable to log into the game because of the issue with the update. The issue should be fixed soon, and we're sorry for the inconvenience it may cause. Weekly Notice (4/28/14) Hello everyone From Thursday to Saturday this week, all members of the Galaxy Empire team will be off for a national holiday. Therefore, we have only 3 days to take care of work stuff, sorry for the inconvenience. What we will do in these three days are listed below:... A Server merges Four French servers in iOS will be merged on Wednesday; those four servers are Saturne(French), Gaa(French), Andromde(French), and Soleil(French). The new server after the merge will be named FRO1. During the merge, these servers will be down for maintenance, and it will take approximately 4 to 8 hours. B Galaxy Challenge Event The Galaxy Challenge event finished a few hours ago, all rewards will be dispatched within today or tomorrow. Weekly Notice (4/21/14) What the Galaxy Empire team will be focusing on this week A Server merges:... This Thursday (04/24), on both iOS and Android, a server merge will occur. Servers to be merged are Giove (Italiano01), Venere (Italiano02), and Saturno (Italiano03) on iOS and two Chinese servers on Android. As a lot of data is being transferred, the workload is extensive; thus, servers will be down for approximately 8 hours for maintenance. It will be the first server merge with a new engine, so if you encounter any technical issues, please feel free to report the issue. B New fleet A new round of G.E.F will start this Friday! As it is a monthly event in Galaxy Empire, everyone will have a chance to participate and win free resources to build new fleets. C Event bugs Last week, a lot of players experienced some event bugs, and we are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Currently, we are working on compensating those who had losses due to those events. In the meantime, more testing will be operated on to make sure that a similar situation won't happen again. D New plan for the future of Galaxy Empire Recently, we've been discussing a lot about what we should add in GE. For now, main focus in future updates are about alliances. Galaxy Empire Weekly Notice (4/14/14) Hello everyone Weekly Notice has arrived on time today, I will try to list more details of what we will do in this week.... A Last week, multiple players reported the problems of VIP activation, Nebula Navigator. We will be working on these problems and try to have it fixed as soon as we can. B As for the server merges, all testing work has been completed. However, due to work arrangements, we may not have enough time to restart it this week. Right now we can be 100% sure that server merges will operate in both iOS and Android next week. C This week, probably Thursday or Friday, Galaxy Empire Android will have a big update which may need server maitenance and everyone will need to update the game client. This update contains refined cross-server events, new resources, and new fleets. All iOS players please be patient. Due to Apple's rules, we have to wait for the approval, the new content will be updated as soon as it's approved by Apple. Galaxy Empire Weekly Notice (4/6/14) Hello everyone Notice for this week is a little late due to a holiday, we are sorry for this delay. All things that will happen in Galaxy Empire for this week have been listed below:... A All iOS players still have chance to acquire new free fleets and credits by logging into the game every day until Thursday. Don't miss it! B Starting from this Friday, iOS players will have a chance to participate in the brand new event, Fight G.E.F. Fight for high scores to win large amounts of new fleets, credits, darkmatter, and other useful items. C In terms of server merges, it's still in testing. But this week, we'd like to hear suggestions from mods and all of players about which servers you would like to merge. We are trying to start merging servers on both iOS and Android next week. D Last week, some players still experienced login issues with the error, "Something Wrong, please try later" message, as far as we have found, what we did last week just fixed part of this issue. More reasons can cause this problem. This problem is still priority as we want all of players to be able to access the game, we will do everything we can to fix it as quickly as possible. E Another big improvement we did last week was the new customer service tool. That tool can significantly help customer service solve in game problems. We will continue to work on better custom service. Recently, fixing in game bugs and providing better customer service are two priorities. Meanwhile, we are looking forward to hearing more from all of players, anything such as interesting events, new in game items or new fleets. Galaxy Empire Weekly Notice (3/30/14) All commanders To give every commander better visibility of what is going on in Galaxy Empire, we will release a weekly notice in game, Forum, and Facebook about what will happen in the coming weeks, starting from today. Weekly notices will contain new updates, bug fixes, and other issues or news.... Below shows what will be worked on within this week A Login issue Recently, lots of players have experienced login difficulties with the error "Something Wrong". This issue will be fixed by Saturday of this week. B Other technical issues Since the update on last Wednesday, a lot of bugs and other technical problems occurred which caused much inconvenience. Last Sunday, an auto-udpate had been released to fix most of those problems. Within this week, another update will be released to fix the rest of the problems, and better game experience can be expected by then. C Server Merge It's been quite a long time since last server merge, mostly because we were short on resources and focused on new updates. Right now, server merges have been reactivated, and is in the procedure of internal testing. Hopefully, the testing process can be completed within one or two weeks. Once everything is ready, the schedule and effected servers will be announced publicly. D Receive new fleets/Dark Matter/Credits for free From this Thursday to next Thursday, login Galaxy Empire everyday! You will have a chance to win new fleets, Dark Matter, or Credits for free. All the above are things that will be done in the coming week, your concerns may not be included.
