FAQ Sled Upgrades There are two types of upgrades temporary & permanent Temporary upgrades CAN NOT BE STORED. If you remove them or swap your sled you will lose them!!!... Permanent upgrades, however, can be stored and reused. Here are a few hints about temporary upgrades - Last only for a limited number of days, these are Klondike days the number of days it takes to travel to a location. - If you remove these or swap sleds the items will be gone, they cant be stored. - If you use the plane, days are not subtracted from the sled improvements. List of upgrades 1) Soft Harness permanent, it is purchased at the Market for emeralds or swapped in Indigo. Improves stamina of the dogs, they can run for 2 extra days without taking a rest. 2) Navigator permanent, it increases the speed of the dogs by 15 km per day, result fewer days to travel to a location. 3) Fastener permanent, it takes the load of all travel items on your sled so these do not take up space. It can be swapped in for Khanbulat or purchased for 19 emeralds. 4) Navigator +45 permanent, it increases speed by 45 km day (therefore reducing days traveled & feed needed). Can be bought for emeralds at the Market 5) Structure Reinforcer permanent, can be bought at the Market. It adds 250 kg to the load capacity of the sled, however, slows down the sled by 4 km a day. 6) Navigator +30 permanent, it increases speed by 30 km day (therefore reducing days traveled & Feed needed). CAMELLIA TEA This land is really cold, so Camellias can grow only near the Heater. Collect Camellia Petals and brew some hot tea for the miners. POWER GENERATOR Fix the damaged cable sections, collect Slate Coal and restore the Power Generator. SLATE COAL can be obtained from Slate Coal Deposits. A deposit will turn into a Mine after you cut it out. Add some Coal and continue processing! After you complete all quests in Ice Town, you'll be able to craft a special ENERGY DRINK in the generator! Clear 75% of the land and get a Power Generator for your home station! FAQ Shovels There are 3 kinds of Shovels in Klondike - Regular Shovels - Golden Shovels... - Mega-shovels You can use them all to dig for treasures and energy on your neighbors lands! Your shovels will be used up in the following way regular golden mega-shovels. Regular Shovels You can use 300 free regular shovels each day (5 shovels at one neighbor's station). Any bonus shovels that drop while digging are added to the daily 300 limit. Golden Shovels They can be purchased at the Market (Buildings Expansions), crafted in the Golden lighthouse, or exchanged for Collections 5 from the Lucky Set. Golden Shovels will be used automatically if there are no regular shovels available. You can use 1000 Golden Shovels a day. Mega-shovels They can be found at the Market (Buildings Expansions). Mega-shovels will allow you to continue digging even when youre out of other shovels. They also can be used after youve reached your 1000 Golden Shovel limit. Each neighbour's land can be dug on only 300 times each day (by all visitors). If your neighbor has a shovel icon on his/her picture, this neighbor still has daily digs available. FAQ Market Stall The time of Christmas fairs has come! Are you into trading, Klondikers? Trading in Klondike is done via the Market Stall (a.k.a. Trader).... - 1 Trader allows for 3 trade offers. - On the left you have what you are OFFERING, and on the right what you are ASKING FOR. - Make sure to select not only the item, but also the amount of it. - ALWAYS MIND THE GIFT LIMIT!!! - You can also trade for COLLECTIONS and things from the MARKET. Just click the Collection or Market buttons when you are viewing your Storage while hiring a trade. (If you choose to offer an emerald item, the emeralds will be removed from your account. If the trade doesnt happen, the item will be placed in your Storage). NOTE You do not get your emeralds back, you get the item. - Pricing is subjective! Be fair and reasonable! Think what youd be willing to give for what you want. Also its always a good idea to investigate the prices! Visit your Trader neighbors and see what they offer. - It's a good idea to place your Trader near the entrance to your Station, after all, all visitors start from there. Trade wisely, Klondikers!
