WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG?! We bet thats what youre thinking zombies. And heres the answer we wanted to bring you a new cool feature with the coming update oh so very much. And we still do. But heres a problem. Every new feature requires some serious debugging. And the older the game is, the harder the integration process. Zombie Island is an old-timer among the social games. Which means its so much more complicated to introduce new fun things to do because they affect ...too many game aspects. We dont have an exact ETA for the update, though its almost ready. CHEATERS BANNED Zombies, you might have noticed that some of your neighbors are now behind the bars. So heres all the info you need to know Bonus below ;)... Q My neighbor says he never cheated. Are you sure thats not some kind of mistake? A Yes, we are. The game flagged these people as cheaters because some of the actions registered in their games are simply not possible without a bot/script. After the players had been flagged, each case was double checked by TWO QA engineers. Trust us, each ban is legitimate. Q The ban message mentions the use of automatized tools prohibited by the rules of the game (bots/scripts). What are those exactly? A Bots and scripts interfere with steady work of the game client. It constituted as hacking of the game and/or making use of its functionality that is not provisioned in the game (to quote the game rules). Q Rules? What rules? A Oh come on! Dont tease us! The game rules are available right in the game header. Q What bots/scripts do? A They speed up the game bypassing its logic and programmed behavior. Were pretty sure everyone here had been robbed by a sailing thief at least once. How come they were so fast? They used bots. Q Will there be more bans? A Yes, it is quite possible.
