How are the cakes matched out of the game? It seems like 2 of each flavor item matched next to it takes pieces away, but then it stops. What's the deal?

I am on level 378 on windows pc.  You have to collect 4 bananas but don't know how.  Matching them together doesn't work and neither does matching something beside them.  I can't post a screen shot.

On game 1087 Raspberry Jam, how do you remove the two squares at the top behind the monkey? I've cleared everything multiple times, but I can't get behind there to click on those two squares.

Clearing squares on either side does nothing to those top two.

At level 1461 ... once I pass this level and continue, when I go into this game it starts over at 1461 even though I had completed 1470.  What is going on?

In game 1970 how do you get the bananas to drop down?
