  • Plan Ahead: Take a few moments to look at the game board and identify possible words before making your first move.
  • Look for Patterns: Look for words that contain the same letters or that form familiar shapes.
  • Look in both Directions: Don't forget to look up, down, and diagonally, as well as left to right, when searching for words.
  • Look for Longer Words: Longer words will usually yield more points, so look for those first.
  • Choose Words with Open Ends: Word Cross games are easier when you have words that can be extended in both directions.
  • Use Power-Ups: If you get stuck, use one of the power-ups that can be purchased in the game to help you out.
