How to Win in Tongits

Tong-its is a 3-player card game, originating from the Northern Philippines. The core goal is to reduce your hand's total value by forming and posting "Mades" (sets or runs of cards) and attaching cards to already posted Mades.

• Victory Conditions:
• Eliminate all your cards (declare "Tong-its!").
• Possess the lowest hand value at the round's end.
• Achieve the lowest hand value in a Draw/Fight.
• Reduce Hand Value: Form and post at least one Made, then attach additional cards to any posted Mades (yours or opponents').
• Jackpot: Win two consecutive rounds to hit the jackpot!

Game Flow Overview

Each round begins with a deal: 13 cards for the starting player (or previous winner) and 12 cards for the other two. On your turn, either pick a card from the Stack or take the latest Dumped Card. You can then post any new Mades you've created (required if you took the dumped card) and attach cards to existing Mades. End your turn by dumping a card.

A "Draw" can be initiated before picking from the Stack or Dumped Card, provided you've posted at least one Made and no card was attached to your Mades since your previous turn.
