You can earn cash easily by taping, investing and collecting from every building. But diamonds are hard to earn so use them wisely, you can earn them on every 5th day of daily bonus. There is a time trick to claim it instantly without waiting for 5 days.

Turn off internet, exit your game, change your device time to 1 day ahead, open the game to earn the daily bonus. Repeat above steps and continue it, till 5 days, and you will earn a diamond.

you can repeat this 5 days process, again and again, to get diamonds, I know its hard work but this is the only options to get diamonds faster.
