Rules of FreeCell Solitaire
- Objective: The primary goal is to build four foundation piles in the upper-right corner. Each foundation pile must be constructed from Ace (low card) to King (high card) and contain only one suit.
- Tableau Play: Cards can be moved between columns in the tableau, but they must be placed in descending order and alternate in color (e.g., a red 6 can be placed on a black 7).
- Free Cells: In the upper-left corner, you'll find four "free cells." These are crucial temporary storage spots where you can place any single card during play, providing tactical flexibility.
- Foundation Commitment: Once a card is moved to a foundation pile, it cannot be taken back. While the undo function can help, using it may reduce your chances of achieving a 3-star rating, so plan your foundation moves carefully.
- Stack Movement: Moving a sequential stack of cards is effectively the same as moving them individually through free spaces and then back to the board. Therefore, you can only move a stack if you have enough available free cells to facilitate the transfer.
How to Play
- Tap to Auto-Move: Simply tap a card to automatically move it to its best possible position.
- Drag and Drop: For more precise control, drag and drop cards to foundations or free cells.
