The Objective:

Your ultimate goal is to create four ascending stacks of 13 cards, one for each suit, in the four home cells. Each stack must begin with an Ace and build up sequentially to a King.

Game Setup:

FreeCell is played with a single 52-card deck, dealt face-up into eight columns. These columns are your primary source for building the winning stacks.

• Free Cells: In the upper-left corner, four free cells allow you to temporarily store single cards during play.
• Home Cells: In the upper-right corner, four home cells are where you will construct the final, winning stacks.

How to Play:

Move cards from the bottom of each column using these key actions:

• To Free Cells: A single card can be moved into an empty free cell for temporary storage.
• Between Columns: Cards can be moved from one column to another (or from a free cell to a column) if the target card is one rank higher and of an alternating color. For example, a red 7 can be placed on a black 8.
• To Home Cells: Build your foundation stacks in the home cells by placing cards of the same suit in ascending order, starting with an Ace.
