  1. Start by placing a queen in the center of the board to maximize the number of available squares.
  2. Place queens on squares where they can control the most number of empty squares.
  3. Use the "divide and conquer" strategy by breaking the board into smaller sections and solving them individually.
  4. Try placing queens in columns or rows with fewest available squares first.
  5. Backtracking is key in this game. If you make a mistake, try undoing your last move and finding a different solution.
  6. Think ahead and visualize the possible moves of each queen before making a decision.
  7. Look for patterns in your solutions and try to replicate them in other sections of the board.
  8. Practice, practice, practice! The more you play, the better you'll become at recognizing patterns and solving the puzzle.
