Multiplayer & Leaderboard Fun

Engage in thrilling two-player matches, keeping track of your scores on the global leaderboards. The game is designed for straightforward fun, ensuring a fair and competitive environment for all players.

Simplified Game Rules:

  1. Initial Deal: One player deals four cards to each player and four cards face-up to the table at the start of the game.
  2. Gameplay Flow: Players take turns throwing one card onto the table. Once players run out of cards, the dealer deals another four cards to each player (but not to the table).
  3. Objective: The primary goal is to capture as many cards from the ground as possible.
  4. Card Collection: You can collect cards from the table if:
    • You have a card matching a card on the table.
    • You have a card that matches the numerical sum of a group of cards on the table (J, Q, K are not included in sums). For example, if you have an 8 and the table has A (value 1), 7, K, and 8, you can take the 8 or the A+7.
  5. Special Cards: If you have a Jack (J) or a Diamond 7 in your hand, you can take all cards from the table.
  6. "Basra" Bonus: A "Basra" (bonus points) occurs when:
    • The table is empty, and the next player throws a card, and you have an identical card in your hand to capture it (excluding J or Diamond 7 if they emptied the table previously).
    • All cards on the table sum up to a card in your hand, in addition to any similar card of the same sum value (e.g., table has 10, 5, 4, 1 and you have a 10; or 8, 7, 1 and you have an 8).
    • If the Diamond 7 (known as "Al Komi") is used to clear a table, it's also a "Basra." The Diamond 7 is a powerful card with two roles: it can capture any Basra value or clear the entire table like a Jack.
  7. Strategic Play: Be cautious not to hold a Jack or Diamond 7 as your last card, as an opponent might capture the entire table and take your special card as a "Basra."
  8. Scoring: After the dealer runs out of cards, the player with the most collected cards gets 30 points. Each "Basra" is worth 10 points, while a Jack Basra and Komi Basra are worth 30 points.
  9. Winning the Game: Several rounds continue, with players alternating as dealer, until a target score is reached and a winner is announced.
