How to Play
Spider Solitaire is played with two decks of cards. Depending on your chosen difficulty, these decks will feature one, two, or four different suits.
- The game begins with cards arranged in ten columns. The top card of each column is face-up, while the rest remain face-down. Any remaining cards are placed in a stock pile.
- Your objective is to remove all cards from the table by building complete sequences within the tableau columns.
- To form a sequence, cards must be arranged in descending order, from King to Ace. At intermediate and advanced levels, cards must also match suit within the sequence.
- When a complete, sequentially ordered stack (King to Ace) of the same suit is formed, it is automatically removed from the table.
- If you run out of valid moves, you can deal a new row of cards from the stock pile to each of the ten columns.
- You are not limited to moving single cards. If a run of cards is all in the same suit and arranged in numeric order (e.g., 7, 6, 5 of Spades), you can drag them as a single unit.
