In Call Break, Spades are always trump. Players make a "Call" or "bid" for the number of tricks they must win in that round to achieve a positive score. If successful, they earn points equal to their bid, plus 0.1 points for each "Over Trick" (additional tricks won). Failing to meet the bid results in a score deduction equal to the stated bid. After five rounds, the player with the highest cumulative score is declared the winner.
