Call Break is a four-player game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 13 cards and must bid on the number of tricks they expect to win. Spades are always the trump suit, adding a crucial layer of strategy to every hand. Players must follow suit if possible; if not, they must play a trump card to win the trick, or discard any other card if unable. The goal is to always try to win the trick, playing the highest possible cards.

Core Gameplay & Scoring:

• Dealing & Bidding: Five rounds of play (deals) constitute a game. The dealer rotates counter-clockwise. After cards are dealt, each player, starting from the dealer's left, bids the number of tricks they aim to capture.
• Strategic Play: The player to the dealer's left leads the first trick. Players must follow suit, trump if they can't follow, or play any card. The highest card of the led suit wins, or the highest trump if one was played. The winner of a trick leads the next.
• Points System: If a player meets or exceeds their bid, they receive points equal to their bid, plus 0.1 points for each extra trick. Failing to meet the bid results in the bid amount being subtracted from their total score.
• Winning the Game: The player with the highest total points after five rounds is declared the winner. A player who bids 8 or more and successfully captures that many tricks wins the game immediately.
