This beloved and popular game originates from the South-East Asian region, particularly Bangladesh and parts of India. Similar to checkers or Alquerque, Botrish Guti offers a unique strategic challenge perfect for two players, widely enjoyed by communities during their leisure time.
Game Rules:
Bead 32 is a thrilling two-player game where each participant starts with 32 beads, or pawns. The objective is to capture all of your opponent's beads by strategically moving across the board.
- Starting Play: Players take turns placing a bead onto a valid position on the board from their hand.
- Capturing Opponents: If you have beads in hand, you can capture an opponent's bead by "jumping" over it into an empty adjacent space, similar to checkers. This removes the opponent's bead from play.
- Moving Beads: Once all your beads are on the board, you can move them one step forward along valid court positions.
- Scoring: Each captured opponent's bead earns you 1 point. The first player to capture all 32 of their opponent's beads is declared the winner!
For those new to this genre, you might also enjoy Sholo Guti, a 16-bead variant, which offers a similar, engaging experience.
