Take flight with Aeroplane Chess, a classic board game that brings friendly competition and strategic fun to two to four players! Your mission: safely guide all your plane pieces from their hangars, nestled in the corners of the board, into the central base of your matching color. Every turn begins with a roll of the dice, dictating your moves and opening up tactical opportunities.

How to Play & Conquer the Skies:

On your turn, you can:

1. Taxi a Piece: Roll an even number to move a plane from its hangar onto the starting space on the board.
2. Move a Piece: Advance a plane already on the board clockwise by the number indicated on the dice.

Strategic Maneuvers & Special Rules:

• Lucky Sixes: Rolling a 6 grants you an additional roll. A second 6 earns you a third roll. Be careful, though! A third consecutive 6 means any pieces moved by the first two 6s must return to their hangar, and play passes.
• Landing on Opponents: Land on an opponent's piece, and they must return it to its hangar.
• Color Jumps: Land on a space matching your plane's color, and you immediately jump to the next space of your color, potentially sending any opposing planes in your path back to their hangars.
• Shortcut Squares: Landing on a shortcut square of your color allows you to take a quicker route across the board, again clearing any opponent pieces in your path. These jumps and shortcuts can even happen in succession!
• Stacking Pieces: If you land on another plane from your own fleet, you can "stack" them and move them as a single, more powerful unit until they reach the center or are captured by an opponent. Stacked pieces unstack if sent back to the hangar.

Winning the Game:

To win, your plane must land precisely on your central base. Once a plane reaches the center, it's placed face-down in its hangar, signifying it's out of the game. The first player to successfully get all four of their planes into the center of the board is the victor! The game often continues until only one player remains as the "loser," adding to the fun.
