How do you get a higher score?

How do you get your score higher on a level so you can get 3 stars? Are different tiles worth more points?

You have to complete the level faster to get a better score. I will play a level repeatedly until I pass the level with three stars. If you have the melody bonus (The Tavern), you can use that to add time which will increase your score. I usually wait until I am reasonably sure I can pass the level before I use up a melody bonus, but the earlier you use it in a puzzle, the higher your score will be.
